Mass production refers to the mass production of products that are then sold to customers. This is done through the use of large factories or by using standardized processes in order to produce identical products in large quantities. Continuous manufacturing refers to the manufacturing process where products are produced over a long period of time in order to meet customer demands. This is often done through using franchised or contract companies in order to keep costs low and maximize output.
